Here at Read It Forward, we are obsessed with bookshelves. We arrange our own spines according to the colors of the rainbow and then re-arrange them all over again, this time in order of genre. We collect little knick-knacks to adorn our shelves. We pin pictures of them to our Pinterest boards.
What are these pictures called you ask?
Why “shelfies,” of course!
And we’re not alone: there are over fourteen thousand pictures tagged on Instagram alone using the hastag #Shelfie.
