Aquarius, Jupiter in your house of goals is helping you find luck in your networks, join new groups, or step up to take charge of the old ones. If you’re looking for an audience to share your ideas with, you may find it this year. Read Brené Brown’s Dare to Lead for some tips. If one of those goals is increasing your income, you’re in luck. Envision what you want to earn, and look for the opportunities that arrive. Kakeibo: The Japanese Art of Saving Money could be a helpful guide, making sure you’re not so eager to achieve your goals that you spend more than you’re earning. The total lunar eclipse in Leo at the end of January is the last in an intense cycle of eclipses that highlighted your self-image and relationships. How have your relationships changed since 2017? Give your attention to a significant other at the beginning of this year. Unmarriageable, Soniah Kamal’s retelling of Pride and Prejudice, is a great read—maybe you can read it together.
Last year, from May through November, you had a preview of what life would be like with your modern ruler Uranus in Taurus. In March of 2019, Uranus moves back into Taurus for the full seven-year cycle. You’re in the process of making big changes to your home, possibly your family, and the very foundations of your life. Entertain yourself with Sarah Elaine Smith’s novel of family life, Marilou is Everywhere, and Lauren Wilkinson’s novel of a woman’s career in espionage, American Spy. In the summer, your attention will turn to your health and well-being. Self-care and sleep will be important while you realize your big goals this year. Read Erica Spiegelman’s The Rewired Life this July and nurture yourself well.
By September, you’ll be able to regain your balance. Erin Chack’s funny essay collection This Is Really Happening will be an ideal read this fall. In November, a Mercury retrograde in your career sector prompts you to rethink some vocational goals. Turn to that old standard, What Color Is Your Parachute? (2019 edition) for some help this winter. On December 2, when Jupiter moves into Capricorn, you’ll be gearing up for a year of big realizations and reflection behind the scenes. But first, 2019 is a year of action. Dream big, and go for it!
