Mary Doria Russell is the author of The Sparrow, Children of God, A Thread of Grace and Dreamers of the Day. Her novels have won nine national and international literary awards, including the Arthur C. Clarke Award, the James Tiptree Award, and the American Library Association Readers’ Choice Award. Her new novel Doc is an authentic, moving, and witty story which redefines two towering figures of the American West-John Henry “Doc” Holliday and Wyatt Earp – and brings to life an extraordinary cast of historical characters, including Holliday’s unforgettable companion, Kate. First and last, however, Doc is John Henry Holliday’s story, written with compassion, humor, and respect by one of our greatest contemporary storytellers. Doc is available at Tattered Cover Book Store and wherever books are sold.
