RIFer David P’s Bookshelf

Our Bookshelf
By RIFer David P.

We keep “fancy” books out on our shelf in the living room, some classic faves, and old school books/non-fiction, etc. There are
several books about our hometown history/reference.

We only read physical books. I always have a book on my nightstand. We get a lot of books from the library, but end up buying some books when we love them! We have a great used bookstore here that we buy and sell books from as well. It’s a good way of recycling books and obtaining new ones!

We have an area in our closet that also stores books (that may be weird, but we don’t have a lot of bookshelves!). It’s a little haphazard and disorganized though, so my wife suggested a picture of our “neat” bookshelf.

Get recommendations for the greatest books around straight to your inbox every week.

The most used bookshelves in our house are probably our children’s, and we have a ton of kid’s books that we read from all the time!

I was lucky enough to win Gone Girl from Read it Forward, it was wonderful, I can see why it was the best book of 2012,

I have told many of my friends in book clubs, and they have used it.

That’s terrific, iLene! We’re so glad you enjoyed GONE GIRL – and were among the very first to read it before it was published. How fun is that?! Thanks so much for reading it forward to your friends. I hope they’ve joined us here on RIF!
