6 Books with Arts and Crafty Covers

These books are as beautiful inside as they are outside.

Over here at Read it Forward, we’ve noticed a trend in book covers lately. Many books that were published this spring and summer look like they were created by artistic hands in Arts and Crafts class: swirls of color that look finger-painted on; letters made with Elmer’s glue and accented with gold glitter; delicate watercolors bleeding across the page. Even better, the beauty of these books doesn’t stop at the cover. All six—both novels and memoirs—are stunning inside as well.
